Asus VivoBook Laptop F515EA-AH34 (8GB DDR4 DRAM, 128GB Storage) Deal price: $365; street price: $500
Update: Up an additional $5 on Amazon. If you prioritize budget when it comes to choosing a laptop, we recommend this variant of the Asus VivoBook. The F515EA-AH34 has our recommended cheap laptop specs and will be fast enough for years to come, while its 1080p screen, backlit keyboard, and trackpad are about as good as those of our other picks. This model has a reliable fingerprint reader in the upper right corner of the trackpad, and it has one USB-C port, though it can't be used for charging. In battery-life tests, the laptop survived for 7 hours and 20 minutes. The VivoBook has 8GB of DDR4 DRAM and 128GB of storage.

HP EliteBook 845 G8 14" Laptop (AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) Deal price: $662; street price: $1700
Update: Up an additional $51, but still worth it at this price. While we normally recommend ultrabooks in most situations, a good business laptop gives you the ability to tackle everything a normal workday might throw at you while also being easier to fix or upgrade components. The EliteBook 845 G8 is the updated version of our current top business laptop and will likely be a pick in an upcoming update to the business laptop guide. This one comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U processor, 8 GB of RAM (but with 2 SODIMM slots so it's easy to upgrade to 16 GB), a 512 GB NVMe SSD, and the standard AMD Radeon integrated graphics. Just make sure to use SMBNB1522 to get the deal price.

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 (8 GB RAM, 128 GB eMMC) (Best Buy) Deal price: $530; street price: $650 (With delayed shipping)
Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-1H-R4HQ) Deal price: $200; street price: $480
The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-1H-R4HQ) is an all-around solid Chromebook, with a comfortable keyboard, a responsive trackpad, and 11 hours of battery life. Compared to our top picks, the Spin 514 is larger and heavier, and its processor has lower performance when the laptop is unplugged. The laptop is still fast enough for basic computer tasks, though, if you don't mind the bigger size and lower performance when unplugged. This Chromebook comes with an AMD Ryzen 3 3000 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 64 GB eMMC SSD.

Acer Swift 3 (SF314-511-51A3) 14" Windows Ultrabook (8 GB RAM, 512 SSD) Deal price: $400; street price: $589
When you need a compact laptop that still has enough power for you to use comfortably for work and play, an ultrabook is what you’re looking for. Even though the Acer Swift 3 didn’t make the cut as one of our official picks, it’s one of the only ultrabooks in its price range that met our requirements for performance, battery life, and weight. The keyboard isn’t as good as our top pick and it doesn’t use a USB-C charger, but if those minor details don’t deter you, this is an excellent price for a daily driver laptop.

Apple Mac Mini Desktop PC (M1, 2020, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) Deal price: $750; street price: $830 (Costco membership required)
Although we think the updated Mac mini offers excellent performance capabilities overall, it also comes with fewer ports and is less upgradeable than its predecessor. Still, the compact M1 is extremely fast, energy-efficient, and impressively quiet. This specific model is equipped with the 8 core M1 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. Despite only being a modest drop in price, we've yet to the see the Mac mini with these specs drop any lower.

Apple Mac mini Desktop PC (M1, 2020, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) Deal price: $570; street price: $670 (Costco membership required)
Surprisingly fast and energy-efficient, a Mac mini desktop PC is a solid choice if you'd like something more powerful than a laptop but don't want your desk to be taken over by a hulking computer tower. Our choice for macOS users, it has fewer ports and is less upgradable than other options from our mini PC guide, but the Apple M1 processor is blazing fast and offers excellent performance while managing to run whisper quiet. The mini Desktop PC has 8 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and the aforementioned M1 processor.

Lenovo Yoga 7i (14″) Laptop (Intel 11th Gen Core i5, 12 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) Deal price: $650; street price: $850
A reliable and cost-effective laptop, the Lenovo Yoga 7i is currently matching the lowest price we've seen. Our budget Windows ultrabook pick, the 14-inch 7i comes with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 14-inch touchscreen, 512 GB SSD, and 12 GB of RAM. Though it is larger and offers less battery life than top pick, we found that the 7i is still powerful enough to last through the whole work day. If you're looking for a feature-rich ultrabook that won't break the bank, this is the best deal on the 7i we've seen all year.

Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook (13″) Deal price: $360; street price: $430
After testing most of the Chromebooks released over the past seven years, we recommend the Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook (13″) as one of our top picks. In addition to being an all-around great laptop, the Flex i5 offers faster performance than most other Chromebooks under $500. Not only is it comparatively inexpensive, it has an excellent keyboard and trackpad, is compact and light, and has a bright 1080p touchscreen with rich colors. This deal on a model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, is down to just $360, a new low price.

Anker Powerhouse 100 Portable Laptop Charger Deal price: $130; street price: $200
A portable laptop charger is the ideal companion if you want to charge your laptop while traveling or working remotely. Compact, lightweight, and easy to use, our top pick for best portable laptop charger can recharge even the most power-hungry laptops with its USB-C PD port, two USB-A ports, and AC outlet. Though this isn't the best price we've seen, this is still a decent discount on this beefy charger.

Lifelong Upryze Ergonomic Laptop Stand Deal price: $56; street price: $70
If you want a laptop stand that works for both sitting and standing, we recommend the taller Lifelong Upryze. The Upryze can raise a laptop as high as 17 inches—perfect for a wide range of working positions—and was the sturdiest of the tall laptop stands we tested (easily holding up to seven pounds). While the Upryze is a great option that accommodates a wider range of heights than our top pick, the stiff hinges aren't as easy to adjust, and—if you extend the Upryze to max height—it has the potential to topple over backwards. Down to the lowest we've seen, lift your work-spirit and your computer with this great option.

Crucial MX500 SSD (1 TB) Deal price: $85; street price: $100
Upgrading your older computer from a more traditional hard drive to a SATA SSD is a great way to improve its speed and performance. If you're looking for a solid-state drive replacement that will go easy on both your older computer and your wallet, we recommend the Crucial MX500 SSD. Down to $85 for the 1 TB model, this deal is just a few bucks shy of the lowest price we've seen for this size. It's a nice opportunity to snag our SSD pick for older computers on sale.

WD Elements External Desktop Hard Drive (16 TB) Deal price: $238; street price: $300
You never know when hard drive failure could erase everything on your computer, so it's never a bad idea to backup important files and documents. Although no longer an official pick, the WD Elements is a big external hard drive we recommend when you need a storage device over 10 TB. This model performed solidly in our tests, but it lacks backup software and has a shorter two-year warranty. This is the best price we've ever seen for the 16 TB size.

SK Hynix Gold P31 SSD (1 TB NVMe) Deal price: $86; street price: $110
An upgraded SSD is a simple and affordable way to get the job done, whether you regularly export large files on your computer or are a gamer looking to cut down on loading screens. Our runner-up pick is from a lesser-known manufacturer, but reviewers praise its good performance and low power consumption, both qualities that make it a better fit for laptops. Down to $86 for the 1 TB size, this is a new low price.

Logitech HD Webcam C615 Deal price: $29; street price: $34
In this modern age of Zoom meetings and video conferencing, sometimes the subpar webcam on your laptop just won't cut it. Our budget pick for the best webcam, the Logitech C615, is perfect if you're seeking a sub-$50 option. While the overall video quality isn't as good as our top pick, it still offers 1080p resolution and looks better than any other camera we tested around the same price point. Matching the best price we've seen this year, this deal is another excellent opportunity to ensure you aren't a pixelated blur when video-chatting with others.

LensPen NLP-1 Camera Lens Cleaner Deal price: $7; street price: $10
Cleaning camera lenses can be a bit scary, but specific tools can help you get the job done right. Whether you’re out shooting or sitting down to clean your lens at home, a LensPen is an essential tool. If you still see particles on the lens, use the retractable brush of a LensPen to wipe away as much as possible. Next, flip it over and uncap the carbon-charged felt tip. The tip absorbs oils or grease that may be on the glass and won’t damage the coatings on the lens. This price matches the lowest we've seen for the pen.

Blue Yeti USB Microphone Deal price: $90; street price: $130
Our longtime top USB microphone pick, the Blue Yeti has the ability to record some of the best-sounding vocals compared to other sub-$2000 options. Versatile and sturdy enough for both professional and amateur use, this mic produces clear and natural-sounding speech and instrumentals.

TP-Link RE315 Wi-Fi Extender Deal price: $25; street price: $35
There are few things more frustrating during the workday than spotty Wi-Fi in your home. As our top pick for the best Wi-Fi extender, the RE315 is a good option for anyone who wants to extend the reach of their Wi-Fi network, add an Ethernet jack to another room wirelessly, or install an access point in a pre-wired home. This is the first deal we've posted on this Wi-Fi extender and it's the lowest price we've ever seen.

Archer A8 Wireless Wi-Fi Router Deal price: $50; street price: $70
If you have more modest needs for your household's Wi-Fi, the TP-Link Archer A8 can still provide a solid network for a small home or a multi-room apartment. At longer distances, it’s measurably slower than our more expensive picks, so it’s not well suited for multi-story houses, and the connection may stutter if it isn’t centrally located in an apartment or home with more than two bedrooms. But over shorter distances in our tests, the Archer A8 was still able to outperform some routers that cost over $150.

Netgear CM500 Cable Modem (Best Buy) Deal price: $30; street price: $50
Netgear CM500 Cable Modem Deal price: $30
Did you know you can save approximately $120/year in rental fees by purchasing your own cable modem? Though it was dethroned as our top pick, we still think the Netgear CM500 Cable Modem is a good budget option as long as your service plan isn't faster than 300 Mbps. With many of the same features as our current top pick, including wide ISP (Internet Service Provider) approval, the CM500 strikes a great balance between reliability and affordability. $30 matches the best price we've seen for this cable modem new.

Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard (Line-Friends Brown) Deal price: $20; street price: $35
Pleasant to use, compact, and versatile, our long-time top pick for best Bluetooth and wireless keyboard is down to the lowest we've seen (though its bear theme is for a very specific taste). The round keys take a bit getting used to, but the Logitech K380 feels great and can pair and switch seamlessly between three devices, making it perfect for multi-device home offices or bringing to the office to use with your work laptop.

Keychron K2 V2 Mechanical Keyboard (Blue Switches) Deal price: $60; street price: $80
The Keychron K2 V2 is an excellent budget 75% keyboard with hot-swappable Gateron switches. Although not one of our main picks, it's an option we well of in our guide the best mechanical keyboards. It's build and keycap quality doesn't match that of our pick, but it's user friendly and Bluetooth pairing is straight forward. If you've been searching for an affordable 75% keyboard, it's down to a new low of $60 for the blue switches. With this deal, it's even more affordable than our budget mechanical keyboard pick.

BlueParrott M300-XT Bluetooth Headset Deal price: $60; street price: $82
While many earbuds have a microphone, nothing beats a dedicated Bluetooth headset when it comes to hands-free calling. Down to the lowest price we've seen, our top Bluetooth headset captures voices clearly and naturally while doing an excellent job of suppressing background noise. And with a 14-hour battery life, it can withstand nearly two full days of nonstop talking before needing a recharge.

Corsair HS60 Pro Gaming Headset Deal price: $40; street price: $60
Balancing comfort and price, our budget gaming headset has drawbacks, but it's the best model under $60 we tested. The HS60 fits comfortably, sounds good, and has a reliable mic. Though it suffers from sound bleed and doesn't have a removable cable, the HS60 is compatible with PC, mobile, and all consoles—making it an excellent option if you use more than one gaming platform. Today's price matches the lowest we've seen.

Asus ROG Gladius III Gaming Mouse Deal price: $50; street price: $80
If you like to customize your gaming mouse or repair it once it wears out, then we think the Asus ROG Gladius III is the best option. The mouse comes with one spare set of replacement switches, a small tweezer tool, and is extremely quick and easy to open—just pull out an old switch and pop in a new one. In addition, its six buttons feel satisfying and are easy to reach, and it's light without feeling cheap.

Logitech G502 Hero Wired Gaming Mouse Deal price: $33; street price: $39
Well-built and reasonably priced, our runner-up pick for the best gaming mouse offers a variety of comfortable grip styles and plenty of responsive buttons. The G502 also has excellent build quality, RGB lights, and adjustable weights, so it's easily customizable. Just keep in mind that those with smaller hands might find it a little more difficult to find a comfortable grip because of the many buttons. We haven't seen a deal on just the G502 since last year.

Epson FastFoto FF-680W Portable Document Scanner Deal price: $500; street price: $550
Unlike most traditional scanners that can bend documents and photos, the Epson FastFoto FF-680W quickly and reliably produces high-resolution photo scans without damaging the original. We particularly appreciated our upgrade pick's rapid-fire photo scanning abilities, though it costs and weighs more than our other portable document scanner picks.

Rybozen 4-Port USB 3.0 Switch Deal price: $16; street price: $21
Update: Down an additional $1. A KVM switch is designed to allow you to switch between computer peripherals without having to plug and unplug a bunch of cords. This Rybozen model is already affordable at just over $20, but this price drop takes it down to just $17 when you clip the on-page coupon. Anker PowerWave Stand Qi Charger (Black) Deal price: $16; street price: $19
The PowerWave Stand, our budget Qi wireless charger stand pick, is one of the slowest Qi wireless chargers we tested (outputting a max of 10W). Regardless, it's still a decent option for those looking to charge overnight or to keep their phone topped off throughout the day, especially with this $16 Lightning Deal. Unfortunately, this option does not come with an AC adapter—so you'll either need to provide your own or plug it straight into your laptop or PC with the included USB cable.
